HB Futsal Tournament

The Academy took two teams (U11 and U15) to the 3-day HB Futsal Tournament in Napier.

It was a jam-packed weekend of fun and futsal for the players and families including a team dinner and a trip to the hot pools.

The U11 team were undefeated in the tournament and won the final 2-1 against stiff competition from the Titans Futsal Academy. The boys have improved greatly over the last 6 months and it could be seen in their passing, teamwork and attitudes. A well deserved win!

The U15 team were playing up an age grade and faced tough physical competition and a few losses on the first two days. However they soon found their feet and showed great resilience and attitude to won both play-off games to finish third overall - and they won the Fair Play Award!
